Pastor G.C. Kelly was born in Arab, AL and is the original pastor of the Eddy Missionary Baptist Church.
He served in the ministry for twelve years prior to becoming the pastor at Eddy in 1952.
Bro Kelly was married to Nellie Ruth Green in 1935. He has two daughters Nelda and Patsy.
He also has two grand children and two great grand children. Bro Kelly has maintained a radio ministry,
been active in the local ministerial association and preached at Bible conferences throughout the Southeast.
He has devoted countless hours to Bible study and continues to lead the young men of the church in a Friday night Bible study in his home.
Brother Kelly is a faithful, spirit filled man, and a couragous soldier of the cross.
He has a heart for the younger generation and has devoted his life for the furtherance of the gospel and the betterment of our community.
